Blokhedz animation background – The CeeLo pan, part 1
A Cinema4D render, using the WFCam4D plugin to acheive the fisheye lens effect. The plug-in is a post-effect run from the render settings window. Cinema4D does not ship with a set of wide angle lenses, so WFCam4D was a life-saver during production when we were faced with doing a 180 degree 2D pan. The set is the basketball court and housing projects from Blokhedz webisode #2 on www.MissionG.com

This is a small selection of the backgrounds I created in 2007 for the Blokhedz animation test. The 3d models were provided by Red Rover Studios, and I took over from there. I did the layout, and matched the finished 2D character animation in the 2:30 music video, used Cinema4D’s camera projection tools alongside UV texturing. Color and lighting, rendering all done in Cinema4D.
