Blokhedz – Blak’s bedroom
A Blokhedz desktop wallpaper from 2008- for formatmag.com, an online youth culture lifestyle magazine. We did two desktops for them, with the 2007 version featuring an image from the Blokhedz animation test/music video. Click on the picture of Blak’s bedroom to see it at the larger size.
Los DaMystro logo – GALLERY
Carlos DaMystro is a very successful music producer based in Atlanta. I spent a short time working on some logo mock-ups for his Damystro record company. I developed the cameo images first, with the cursive letters for his logo, and I also pitched the Art Deco style conductor image, with the sunglasses. In the next round, I incorporated both into an image that features the conductor character inside the cameo-style frame. That led to the final version, which has the speakers flanking the conductor character and musical notes framing the image.
Eightbox
A promotional illustration and the sketch for the project as well. Done for Eightbox, a music-meets-technology website. The boombox/dj/laptop idea was fun to explore and ultimately led to the creation of Audio-2 for Blokhedz.
